Spring is just around the corner and we are “hopping” with excitement for you to join us on the trail along with several local businesses to crack open the season with lots of eggs, candy, and more!

- What is Hopping Down the Bunny Trail?

Hopping Down the Bunny Trail is a safe easter egg experience for families to walk around the paved trail at Williams Park and collect candy and other fun giveaways from local businesses and organizations.
- How much does it cost to participate?

Hopping Down the Bunny Trail is FREE for participants and vendors! But, you'll want to bring extra cash to purchase from our local food trucks.
- How Do I Get To Williams Park?

Williams Park is located at 940 S. Locust Lane, Brownsburg, IN 46112. This will take you directly to the park.
You'll find parking within Williams Park or in nearby neighborhoods. Note that this event sees up to 1,000 visitors and nearby parking fills up quickly. Please be courteous of resident's yards when parking along the street.
- Where is the lost and found located at?

Lost and found is located at the Brownsburg Parks info booth.
- Will there be volunteer opportunities?

Yes, volunteers are needed to help set-up, support the event, and tear-down. Sign up online.
- What items are prohibited?

- NO glass admitted
- NO aerosol cans
- NO outside alcohol
- NO sporting equipment
- NO umbrellas
- NO tents
- NO flags or kites
- NO laser pointers
- NO drugs or drug paraphernalia
- NO musical equipment or instruments
- NO fireworks or paper lanterns
- NO drones, remote control aircrafts, cars or toys
- NO promotional items or flyers
- NO spray paint
- NO air hors or megaphones
- NO water guns or water balloons
- NO devices or items that could disturb the peace or cause harm to people and/or goods
- Any other item deemed inappropriate by management/staff
- Can I bring my dog?

Yes! However, your dog must remain leashed at all times.
- I am not a Brownsburg resident. Can I still attend this event?

Yes! This event is open for our community. All of Brownsburg and beyond are welcome to attend.
Brownsburg Parks takes the safety and welfare of all participants and employees seriously. This policy is designed to give guidance to employees, parents, and registered participants in situations where an activity may need to be canceled. Employees may use their best judgment in certain situations and some determinations/cancellations may be made at a facility, program, or event.
Time Frame for Cancellations:
- Morning Activity: determined by 7:30 am
- Afternoon/Evening Activity: determined by 4 pm
- Special Events: determined three hours prior to start
All registered participants will receive an email from Brownsburg Parks within 15 minutes of the decision to cancel the activity. Cancellation information also will be posted on Brownsburg Parks Facebook and Twitter pages.
Severe Weather Policy
Programs, special events, and other activities may be canceled and facilities closed under the conditions outlined below:
- Extreme Cold Weather Conditions. Cold weather reported or forecasted to be 25 degrees or below OR any
- combination of wind and temperature that is 25 degrees or will warrant outdoor program cancellation.
- Icy Weather Conditions will lead to cancellations: When the National Weather Service has issued a travel warning; When road visibility is severely limited; and When partner facilities are not available due to closure. (Example - school closure ).
- Snow Fall Conditions/Blizzard will lead to cancellations: When the National Weather Service has issued a travel warning; When road visibility is severely limited; and When partner facilities are not available due to closure. (Example -school closure ).
- Extreme Heat Weather Conditions. When heat and humidity are such that participants engaged in vigorous activities for prolonged periods could become over-heated and continued activity becomes dangerous programs may be cancelled.
Follow the guidelines below for specific weather conditions. - Heat Index. When the heat index (combination of temperature and relative humidity) reaches 105 or greater.
The Town of Brownsburg Parks routinely takes photos and videos of participants for promotional purposes. Be aware that by participating, you are granting the department the right to use and publish your image or your minor child’s image.
